BIEA STEM Conference
BIEA is prefacing the launch of its second annual International STEM Youth Innovation Competition with this exciting conference. The chosen theme of conserving ecology via technology reflects the theme of the 2019 competition in which students under the age of 18 from around the world will compete to design a drone that is capable of protecting an endangered species.
Taking place at the beautiful Royal Institution in London’s Mayfair, the BIEA STEM conference will feature four speakers presenting on issues relating to the interplay between ecology and technology. Represented will be ZSL, Liverpool John Moors University, New Scientist and the Born Free Foundation. The presentation will be followed by a panel discussion featuring the head of the RI Shaun Fitzgerald and moderated by New Scientist.
