454 Life Sciences, a Roche Company, and SoftGenetics have entered into an agreement to provide users of 454 Sequencing Systems with the range of SoftGenetics NextGENe software’s next-generation sequencing data analysis options. Fully compatibility with 454 Sequencing data, NextGENe is a free-standing software multi-package for a variety of applications, including targeted amplicon resequencing, exome sequencing, transcriptome sequencing and forensic profiling. The software package provides additional options for users of 454 Sequencing Systems, as well as the GS Data Analysis Software suite provided with the platforms.
