Adept Scientific has made two new appointments – one to its technical sales arm and the other to its board of directors.
Twenty-seven year old Bakhtiar Choudhury has joined as a technical sales specialist. He is
from Bangladesh and has been in the UK for 10 years. He studied Electronic Engineering at Kent University where he met his wife.
Coming to from National Instruments, Choudhury has extensive commercial and technical experience which will be crucial to the development of Adept’s data acquisition (DAQ) and Statistical Process Control (SPC) product lines.
Adept general manager, Michael Pisapia, has also joined the Board of Adept Scientific, bringing the number of directors to four; including joint-owners and founders Paul and Elaine Bragg, Mike Willis and now Michael Pisapia.
With his extensive experience of setting-up and managing global companies and company mergers and acquisitions, Pisapia will grow Adept into new markets.
As an electronics engineer, Pisapia spent eight years developing guided weapon and missile tracking systems for local defence contractor BAE Systems. Pisapia was instrumental to the starting and running of several international companies focussing on data acquisition, sensors and gas detection. As acting managing director, he travelled the world bringing data acquisition to a much broader audience.
