LIMS develope Accelerated Technology Laboratories (ATL) has announced a partnership with EnvironmentalReports, a technology company that builds mobile applications connecting field operations with data and report management systems.
The partnership will ultimately provide laboratories with the ability to manage all operational data and easily achieve regulatory compliance goals by combining two products: mobile computing and LIMS. Field data that is collected - including collector information, date and time stamps, sites, locations, complete chain of custody data, GPS coordinates, photographs, and more - is securely transmitted and seamlessly integrated into the LIMS.
Key benefits of this technology include enhanced efficiency, productivity and accuracy due to real-time data upload into the LIMS for instant reporting. A variety of application versions are targeted toward specific industries; for example, eCOC (electronic Chain of Custody) for asbestos and lead inspection for environmental customers, along with versions specifically designed for microbiology, water and wastewater collection.
