Autoscribe is looking to increase its global presence as it seeks distributors for its Matrix Gemini LIMS, scientific and business software solutions.
The latest release is built using Microsoft .NET2 and provides significant advances over previous releases. New functionality includes direct integration with email for sending messages and built-in SPC controls for customers who wish to use control charts. There is also much easier control of parent-child sample relationships to meet the need for tracking and reporting aliquots and sub-samples. Dashboards provide 'status-at-a-glance' information to management.
This release also includes a new set of configuration tools that allow screens to contain different fonts, font sizes, colors and images in many different formats. This produces systems that are more intuitive and easier to use, thus saving training time and costs. As with all Matrix Gemini products, screens that are designed for use in a Windows client are immediately available for use as a web form in IE6 or later. This provides for the same user experience for both web and network access, again reducing costs.
