LabVantage is to acquire the Applied Biosystems SQL*LIMS business from Life Technologies, uniting the former's Sapphire platform with a significant global footprint of LIMS professionals.
The SQL*LIMS business from Applied Biosystems, a part of Life Technologies, is an enterpriselaboratory information management system (LIMS) provider that manages the laboratory processlifecycle. With more than 250dedicated LIMS employees around the world, plus an extensive partner network, LabVantage will be even better equipped to meet the needs of customers seeking to deploy LIMS across their global enterprise,' said Jim Aurelio, President and CEO of LabVantage.
