LabVantage completed its acquisition of the SQL*LIMS business from Life Technologies Corporation on 10 August. Pat Pijanowski, former General Manager of the SQL*LIMS business, has joined LabVantage as its Chief Operating Officer.

LabVantage will continue to support SQL*LIMS, as almost all the SQL*LIMS employees are transferring to LabVantage. LabVantage will continue to implement and sell the SQL*LIMS product to address the needs of those customers to which it is best suited.
