Six of the top 20 pharmaceutical companies have chosen Mosaic as their LIMS solution, Titian Software announced at the Society for Biomolecular Sciences 2007 conference earlier this month.
Titian’s commercial director, Richard Fry, commented: ‘Many have now realised that Mosaic provides a highly efficient and readily available alternative to internal builds that meets all needs. Installation is fast, eliminating the delays and risks associated with in-house development, and ongoing customer support relieves pressures on internal resources.’
The product has proved popular with both large and small companies due to its modular architecture that allows organisations to pick and choose the relevant software according to their budget. In addition, it can streamline workflows over many labs, and be integrated into the company’s own systems for results analysis and chemical registration.
The conference, which ran from 15-19 April and was held in Montréal, highlighted the most recent advances in the discovery and development of drug therapies, and contained sessions examining translational medicine, biomarkers and immunotherapeutics.
