OCF is proclaiming a 'new phase of ownership' after a buy-out by a younger management team.
Russell Slack, Andrew Dean and Laurence Horrocks-Barlow have acquired 100 per cent of the share capital from former owners Julian Fielden and Steve Reynolds.
‘I am excited to announce that OCF will enter a new phase of ownership following this management buy-out. I have taken the position of chairman on a part-time basis and Steve Reynolds will continue as sales director, so it should be very much business as usual with the added benefit of a younger, exciting management team with a more thorough understanding of today’s technologies,’ says Julian Fielden, Chairman.
Russell Slack has been appointed managing director and Laurence Horrocks-Barlow as technical director, Andrew Dean will continue to be a driving force in the sales team working closely with Steve Reynolds. From an operational perspective, OCF plc will become OCF Limited at Companies House.
‘Having started my career at OCF as a Systems Engineer over 20 years ago, I consider a management buy-out of this nature the best course of action to retain the unique culture of OCF,’ says Russell Slack, managing director. ‘The new leadership team is very excited about this opportunity and hopes to build upon all that we have achieved in the past and take us forward to succeed in the future.’
