Numascale has announced its new CEO Morten Toverud, who started his work with the company this week.
Mr Toverud has extensive experience in the industry; his last position was the Vice President of R&D at Rheinmetall Defence in Oslo. He started his career after studies and lecturing at the University of Oslo at The Norwegian Defence Research Establishment where he held a position as Senior Principal Scientist.
Numascale provides scalable solutions for big data applications, Numaconnect for example, is a scalable shared-memory system built from standard servers that takes advantage of low-cost commodity x86 hardware.
