Reel Two is using Advanced Chemistry Development’s (ACD/Labs) nomenclature software for the challenging task of converting chemical names found in its patents database to chemical structures.
The database, SureChem, is a web-based database of more than 16 million compounds extracted from full-text patents worldwide. Reel Two has incorporated ACD/Name to Structure into the web portal, and will be offering it as an option for customers.
Reel Two is one of the first users of the new Linux version of ACD/Name to Structure, and is providing feedback and metrics for high-throughput conversion.
