Molecular Connection’s database Netpro will be fully integrated into Genomatix’s biological networks and pathway knowledge base and analysis system BiblioSphere PathwayEdition (BSPE).
Netpro is one of the largest databases of protein-protein and protein-ligand interactions and contains highly specific data on the nature of interaction, pathways, diseases, location, and pharmacokinetics information.
BSPE is a database of biological networks created from millions of individually-modelled relationships between genes, proteins, complexes, cells and tissues. It contains a combination of up-to-date text mining techniques for automated knowledge extraction, which should complement Netpro.
