The 2012 International Supercomputing Conference (ISC'12) is now accepting submissions for Birds-of-a-Feather sessions and research posters. The 27th conference in the series, ISC'12 will be held 17-21 June 2012 in Hamburg, Germany. This year’s conference is expected to draw 2,400 attendees from academia, research institutions and industry around the world. An estimated 160 leading organisations will showcase their products and research in the ISC exhibition.
Birds-of-a-Feather (BoF) sessions provide opportunities for ISC attendees with common interests to come together for informal discussions to share new ideas and information on HPC topics. Each 45-minute session addresses a different topic and is led by one or more individuals with expertise in this area. The BoF sessions are open to all ISC participants, including exhibitors, and will be held 18-20 June 2012. The deadline for submitting proposals is Monday, 9 April 2012.
The latest research results, projects and innovations can also be presented via the Research Poster session. Submissions are invited in the areas of architectures, storage and data, algorithms and analysis, future trends, large-scale simulations, and other such innovative aspects of HPC. The deadline for submitting proposals is Monday, 9 April 2012.
The conference is also inviting undergraduate and graduate students to participate as student volunteers. In return for helping to run the conference, student volunteers will have the opportunity to learn about the latest developments in the field of HPC. They will receive conference registration, access to the exhibits and meals during conference hours. The deadline to apply is Monday, 2 April 2012.
