Boxx Technologies, a provider of high-performance computer workstations and rendering systems, has introduced the 3DBOXX 4120 – a compact, professional workstation featuring the 4th generation Intel Xeon processors E3-1200 v3 product family and Intel’s fourth generation Core processors.
The company says these products offer a significant performance increase over previous Intel processors while also providing better power efficiency. Boxx says it is among the first hardware manufacturers to offer a workstation featuring the new micro architectures.
'Workstation solutions based on the Intel Xeon processors will spark innovation throughout a host of industries,' said Frank Soqui, workstation general manager of Intel’s Workstation Group Intel technology. 'Through early adoption of this technology in the 3DBOXX 4120, Boxx is providing users with revolutionary processing power, access to Intel’s latest processor graphics technologies, and the latest computing infrastructure to create photo-realistic designs faster than ever.'
The integration of a new, four-core 4th generation Intel Core i7 or four-core Intel Xeon processor E3-1200 v3 product family enables 3DBoxx 4120 to offer a 10 per cent performance increase over its predecessor, the 3DBoxx 4050. The workstation also features advanced liquid cooling and a new compact chassis ensuring quiet operation while making it suitable for space-constrained environments.
