Allinea Software has released version 5.1 of its development tool suite and performance analysis tools, with a focus on improving the energy efficiency of application software and enabling swifter integration of tools into complex high-performance computing (HPC) workflows.
New Allinea Forge and Performance Reports energy packs measure and profile CPU, GPU and system power consumption, enabling both administrators and developers to reduce the energy consumption of their applications. Furthermore, Allinea Forge 5.1 enables developers to more quickly create better code, regardless of the complexity of their system and software.
Additional features include extended memory debugging and leak detection within non-interactive debugging sessions, and deep zooming capabilities during profiling for exploring critical regions of time in greater depth.
