Bio-Rad Laboratories has released an addition of AnalyzeIt Polymer IR to its KnowItAll Informatics System.
This application has been developed to aid researchers in the interpretation of the bands found in an infrared (IR) spectrum of polymeric compounds.
Polymer researchers can use this method of spectral interpretation for:
- Identification of IR spectra of unknown polymers
- Classification/pattern characterisation of polymers
- Interpretation of polymers in conjunction with spectral database searching
The AnalyzeIt Polymer IR application features more than 100 functional groups and hundreds of interpretation frequencies.
