CLC bio has incorporated the features from its CLC DNA Workbench, CLC RNA Workbench and CLC Protein Workbench desktop software packages into a single commercial workbench, named CLC Main Workbench. Developed for traditional sequence analysis and visualisation, CLC Main Workbench also contains additional tools for gene expression analysis. The company has also introduced a permanent price reduction, effective immediately, and an additional time-limited discount for academic researchers that will run until 31 May 2012.
