Systat Software, a developer and supplier of scientific software and services, has launched Systat 13, the latest version of its flagship statistical software package. This latest release features new statistical methods, faster data computation and an optional module which adds Cytel's Exact Tests functionality.
The statistical methods added to the package include ARCH and GARCH models for time series analyses. Other statistical enhancements include best subsets regression, confirmatory factor analysis and additional non-parametric testing algorithms.
Additionally, Systat has partnered with Cytel – a 20-year leader in the design and analysis of clinical trials. Version 13 of the software includes Exact Tests, a Systat product that contains Cytel's exact-inference testing procedures.
Version 13 also features a new data editor, which allows easier entry and faster computation speeds. Other notable refinements include new graphical editing options and updates to the user interface.
