The VidCAD SQL Engineering suite of products, previously available for AutoCAD only, has now been released for Bricsys’ Briscad V11. VidCAD SQL is software for designing and documenting complex cabling and electric equipment installations, and when users change cable or equipment information in one drawing, all other drawings and facility data automatically update to reflect the alterations. All reports are generated inside the software and can be exported to other software or a PDF writer. VidCAD SQL creates intelligent cable labels including the source and destination info of the equipment and the destination rack. For error checking, it can run reports that search for equipment and cables that are not in the database, ensuring everything is connected and documented.
