Ethosoft has released X-LIMS v4.0, which offers major enhancements to its web-browser based core, including a new alerting enginge that incorporates the use of RSS feeds making X-LIMS alerting more available and far more effective than email centric approaches. Also provided is the new X-LIMS electronic signature component providing laboratories with the configurable and secure controls required for approval, validation, and reporting processes.
These are just a sampling of the more than 50 enhancements provided with the release of X-LIMS v4.0. These new features and tools use the latest Microsoft .NET platform. X-LIMS v4.0 is compatible with the either 32-bit or 64-bit Microsoft technologies, including Windows Server 2008, SQL Server 2008R2, and Office 2007.
